A perfect way to discover the hidden secrets of Belgrade is to explore underground. These underground places present older layers of Belgrade that various cultures built over ramparts of the conquered city, a scenario which occurred 38 times.

Stories of Serbia's turbulent history cannot be presented by a few visible remains. We have selected underground paths from the Roman, Austrian, Turkish and Serbian period to present to you. Underground Belgrade contains tens of caves and caverns, which people carved in limestone rocks, hundreds of underground tunnels built up in last 300 years by the Austrians, Serbs and Germans, countless buried wells, walled rivers, but, above all, structures that are remains of peoples who settled Belgrade.

Roman Hall - preserves tower of the main entrance gate of Roman fortress. In Roman hall at the presentation we will briefly show you some sites that are presently beneath the surface of today's Belgrade, and have witnessed its turbulent history 7000 years long.

Army bunker - from the time of Cominform, time of Cold War after World War 2, and you will get to know some of the President Tito's political games between great countries.

Big gunpowder warehouse - you will have the chance to touch the walls of the cave which Austrians built as the part of the fortress which served as the defense of Christian Europe against Turkish Empire.

We will pass through tunnel from Kosancic Square, beneath it and through artificial cave used as bunker and then to Karadjordjeva Street.

Wine cellar in the cave - from the time of the liberation of Serbia from Turkey in 19th century, where we will necessarily have wine branch..
